The alphabet of American Sign Language, drawn in ballpoint pen.  I am so inspired by this beautiful, visual language and wanted to express my respect for communication using sign through drawing.

Though I created this artwork to highlight the visual similarities between the written English alphabet and the ASL alphabet, as a kind of starting point, they will look different when signed.  When signing the alphabet, use your dominant hand at shoulder height with palm facing outward.  This video is a good example.
